Regular Events

Baronial Fighter Practice

Held every Monday, starting at 7pm, the Baronial Fighter Practice is held at the Burwood Community Hall.

Baronial Fighter Practice is an oportunity for people wishing to practice Heavy (Melee) and Rapier combat to get together.  Newcomers are encouraged to attend to find out more about SCA combat and see it in practice.

Baronial Arts and Science Night

Held every Thursday, starting at 7pm, the Baronial Arts and Science night is held at the St Peters Town Hall in Sydenham.

Baronial Arts and Science Night projects are discussed on the Rowanites mailing list.

Baronial Senate Meeting

Held the first Thursday of every month, starting at 7pm, the Baronial Senate Meeting is held at the St Peters Town Hall in Sydenham.

The Baronial Senate meeting is the official business meeting of the group.  Non-officers are welcome to attend in order to observe or to bring business before the group.

Calligraphy and Illumination evenings:

Held most Tuesday nights, 7:30 pm, in Meadowbank. For more information, contact Cairistiona nic Bheathan.

This is a chance for people to learn about Calligraphy and Illumination and work on pieces with support and amusing company.

NEW: Baronial Dance Practice, starting 13 November 2009

Held every second Friday, 7pm - 9pm, at the Erskineville Town Hall, in Erskineville Rd, Erskineville (practically on top of Erskineville station, very close to MacDonaldtown and Newtown, and close to food shops & pubs).  A gold coin donation is requested to help cover the cost of hall hire.
